A High Roller’s Hotel

By Megan Zagger

It’s no secret that luxury comes at a price, but how about a hefty $9,500 a night? Argentina’s faena hotel + Universe in Buenos Aires boasts the most expensive suite in Latin America, complete with breathtaking city views, two large flat-screen televisions and a Jacuzzi. But that’s not all: Residents of the Faena suite also enjoy the personal 24-hour service of a dedicated experience manager, and guests of the big-spenders have their own residential entrance. Decked out by french design superstar philippe Starck, along with alan faena, no luxurious detail was overlooked. A beautiful glass chandelier dangles in the reception area, oil paintings of General and Eva Perón hang on the walls, and red velvet curtains adorn the windows. It’s high-end accommodation at its finest—and priciest.
